Help elephants and people coexist peacefully in Sri Lanka!
Translations available in: English (original) | Italian | German | Portuguese | Dutch

I've been studying Asian elephants in Sri Lanka for the past six years.  We've kept track of close to 600 of these amazing animals in Uda Walawe National Park over this time, following their friendships and learing about how they communicate with one another.  Starting this year, I'm expanding our work to look at how farmers and elephants affect one another.  Each year wildlife and people are killed because of conflict over land and water.  We hope our work will help solve some of the problems.

I've put up a video to launch a fundraising campaign for our work next year, as part of the #SciFund Challenge!
  • Do you want to make a difference for elephant conservation?
  • Do you want to help people live peacefully alongside these magnificent animals?
  • Do you have a club or organization that could do a fundraising drive for us?
Please get involved by sharing these links and finding creative ways to help out!

Help us crowdfund our work & get some fabulous thank you gifts!
